Penticton & Wine Country Visitor Centre

The Penticton & Wine Country Visitor Centre is a one-stop shop for planning your day, your weekend or even a two-week getaway to Penticton. The building includes the BC VQA Wine Info Centre and Visitor Information Centre on the first floor and offices for the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce, Penticton Economic Development Services and Penticton & Wine Country Tourism on the second floor.

Walk through the front doors to the BC VQA Wine Info Centre. The Wine Info Centre provides a broad selection of over 400 VQA wines, wine accessories, wine magazines and books, cookbooks, and local delectables. The experienced staff can teach you how to properly swirl, sniff and sip your Okanagan wine or assist with selecting the perfect bottle to pair with dinner or for that special occasion.

Then take step next door to the Visitor Information Centre. The friendly and knowledgeable staff can assist with all aspects of planning your trip in Penticton, from finding available accommodations, to selecting activities to giving directions, maps and other tips. The Certified Travel Counsellors offer information on wine shop hours, park hours, upcoming events, a selection of wedding venues and a variety of other services. Operating as both a Ticketmaster outlet and a community ticket seller, the Visitor Info Centre sells tickets to concerts, sporting events and community events throughout the year. While you are there, you can pick up souvenirs with their selection of Penticton memorabilia, choose from a wide selection of brochures and visitor guides for communities and businesses throughout the Okanagan and BC or use their internet service.
