PENTICTON, BC — The Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) announced today that tickets for the 2017 CSSHL Championships are now on sale.

The event runs March 13-19, 2017 in Penticton, B.C. and will see a champion crowned in the Midget Prep, Midget Varsity, Elite 15s, Bantam Prep and Bantam Varsity divisions.

Tickets are available at www.valleyfirsttix.com, or in person at the Valley First Box Office at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC).

Tickets are $15 for a day pass or $40 for a full event pass, while students (18 and under) get in free.

The majority of games will take place at the SOEC, Okanagan Hockey Training Centre and Memorial Arena, while a small amount of games will be held at Oliver Arena and Summerland Arena.

The 2016-17 CSSHL Awards Ceremony takes place on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the SOEC.

This marks the third consecutive year that the City of Penticton has hosted the event, which has grown from 33 teams and 609 student athletes in 2015 to 49 teams and over 900 student athletes in 2017.

Fans will be treated to fast-paced action featuring many future junior hockey stars as 88 Western Hockey League (WHL) Bantam Draft picks will be competing, including seven athletes selected in the first round of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

Over 20 current CSSHL athletes have suited up in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) this season, while another nine have seen action in the WHL.
