The Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) announced today that tickets for the 2016 CSSHL Championships are now on sale.

The event runs March 9-13, 2016 in Penticton, BC and will see a champion crowned in the Midget Prep, Midget Varsity, Elite 15s, Bantam Prep and Bantam Varsity divisions as a total of 39 teams will be competing.

Tickets are available at www.valleyfirsttix.com, in person at the Valley First Box Office at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC), or the Wine Country Visitor Centre. Tickets are $15 for a day pass or $40 for a full event pass, while students (18 and under) get in free.
The majority of games will take place at the SOEC, Okanagan Hockey Training Centre and Memorial Arena, while a small amount of games will be held at McLaren Park Arena, Oliver Arena and Summerland Arena.

The 2015-16 CSSHL Awards Ceremony takes place on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the SOEC.

Fans will be treated to fast-paced action featuring many future junior hockey stars as over 60 Western Hockey League (WHL) Bantam Draft picks will be competing, including third overall selection Tyler Popowich (Vancouver Giants) and 20th overall pick Tristen Nielsen (Calgary Hitmen). Over 20 players competing have suited up in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) this season, while another seven have seen action in the WHL. The Midget Prep, Midget Varsity, Elite 15s and Bantam Prep divisions will run Wednesday through Sunday, while the Bantam Varsity Division will run Wednesday to Saturday.

Game times will be released closer to the start of the Championships once the post-season schedule for the Penticton Vees is announced.
