The Penticton Vees are honored to welcome The Trews to their November 11th game at the South Okanagan Events Centre for a special Remembrance Day pre-game performance. The Vees will be facing the Vernon Vipers that night, presented by Bell Canada. Doors open at 6pm, puck is scheduled to drop at 7PM. Tickets for the game are available in-person at the Valley First Box Office (at the SOEC), over the phone at 1.877.763.2849 (SOEC TIX)* or online at www.valleyfirsttix.com.

The Trews graciously accepted an invitation by the Penticton Vees Junior “A” Hockey Club to perform their Remembrance Day song “Highway of Heroes” and “O Canada” at the Penticton Vees game, before their scheduled concert at The Mule on Martin later that evening. “Highway of Heroes”, was co-written and co-produced by the Trews and Gordie Johnson (Big Sugar) and was inspired by the 2006 death of Captain Nicholas Goddard from The Trews’ hometown of Antigonish, NS. Canada’s Highway of Heroes, is a section of the MacDonald-Cartier freeway named to honour those who have sacrificed all in service of our country.

For those who are 19+ years old, head to The Mule on Martin after the game to catch The Trews full performance with special guests, The Bleekers. Early Bird Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased online at www.TicketWeb.ca or in person at The Grooveyard and at the Mule. Please note that ticket prices go up to $40/each day of show.
