TEDDY & TOQUE TOSS
Presented by Bannister Chevrolet Penticton

The annual “Teddy & Toque Toss” event hosted by the Penticton Vees is scheduled for Saturday, December 9th, against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC), presented by Bannister Chevrolet Penticton.

This season, the focus has shifted from stuffed toys to a call for new or gently used winter outerwear (including toques, gloves, jackets, etc.) for all age groups, as well as new and packaged diapers. While stuffed toys are still appreciated, the Salvation Army has identified a growing demand for winter outerwear in recent years. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute by tossing their soft donations onto the ice following the Vees’ first goal of the game.

In conjunction with the soft goods collection, the Salvation Army will be accepting food and cash donations at the top of Gate 1 on the main concourse. It is emphasized that food and cash donations should not be thrown onto the ice.

The game night sponsor, Bannister Chevrolet Penticton, will be on-site with great prizes to be won! Fans are encouraged to visit their table on the main concourse to participate in a chance to win one of three prizes or engage with their team to learn about special in-store offers at the dealership.

 

 

REGULAR SEASON PRICING – 

  • Adults – $19* each
  • Seniors (65+ ) – $17* each
  • Local Children/Students (18 & under) – FREE** courtesy of Peter’s Bros Construction
    • All children/students must enter through Gate 1 (main entrance) of the SOEC.
    • All children/students must present photo identification (student ID, driver’s license, etc.) to receive a game ticket at the Valley First Box Office and to enter the venue on game night.
    • Children/students in Grade 8 or lower must be accompanied by a parent/guardian throughout the game.
    • Kids 14-18 must show ID to receive a free ticket.
  • Non-Local Children/Students (18 & under) – $10.00* each*Additional fees apply online.
    **Does not apply to premium seating.
